Beth Russell Needlepoint Cushion Kit Collection 3

Beth Russell trained at the Royal School of Needlework and it was here that she first became influenced by the 19th century designs of William Morris and William De Morgan, two leaders of the Arts & Crafts movement.

Beth's sensitive interpretation of these designs has earned her an international reputation and her company, Designers Forum, have been producing her exquisite needlepoint kits for the past 15 years.

Morris wrote his poem LOVE IS ENOUGH in 1872, drawing his inspiration from The Mabinogion, the ancient Welsh saga. Beth has adapted the design for this needlework sampler from his design for the cover.

JASMINE - adapted from Morris' pretty Jasmine Trail fabric provides a perfect frame for an initial. A chart for the whole alphabet is supplied.

The WILLIAM MORRIS SAMPLER takes Morris' most famous statement about interior design as its inspiration. The canvases are printed in colour and a chart is supplied for the lettering.

18 count printed Zweigart de luxe canvas and Appleton wool. Full instructions, needle and calico cotton tidy bag are also included.
