MAKING A NEEDLEWORK CARPET

Elizabeth Bradley needlework carpets are made up from a varying number of central squares of needlework (each 16ins by 16ins) surrounded by a border. This page illustrates the Wild Rose and Forget Me Not Border. This border is worked on printed canvas.

 Can't decide on your background colour?

After your kit arrives it's not too late to change the background colour. Your kit will contain a wool card with samples of the seven background colours and directions for making a simple exchange.

All Elizabeth Bradley kits are worked using this stitch which is pleasant and easy to do; covering the canvas well and producing thick hardwearing needlework with no distortion of shape.
